The feed seemed to be of high quality and the koi fish in my pond really seemed to enjoy it. I noticed within a few weeks that the feed helped to enhance the color and overall health of my fish. I have approximately 25 gold fish in my pond and usually I will feed them flake food. The problem with flake food is it floats everywhere! Especially on a windy

I have approximately 25 gold fish in my pond and usually I will feed them flake food. The problem with flake food is it floats everywhere! Especially on a windy day, with food ending up in the surrounding plants and missing the water. I didn't have this problem at all with Nutrena Nature's Canvas Koi Fish Food. The food is in small round pellets that go exactly where I want them- in the water and then into my fish's bellies! I think the best thing about Nutrena Nature's koi food is that it floats. I now know exactly how much my fish eat, which means a cleaner pond and less waste.

I was excited to see how big the bag was. I immediately opened it and as always, i smelled the product. No offensive odor and nice size pellets that feel a little heavier than other brands. We have koi and big gold fish that devoured this happily and some even jumped in excitement. My only wish is that such a large bag had a self closing feature. I will use tape to close it tightly. Soon winter will be here and the feeding will wind down till then.

This is a huge bag of food! The pellets are medium size so not too big or too small. The pellets float and the fish come up quickly to feast. They can be fed by hand as well to fish in a pond or in a tank. Our pond has a guest frog and he ate some as well!! They seem to really enjoy the food and this bag will last quite awhile.
