I bought this on a huge discount. My usual food hasn’t been the same for a while and I wanted to switch. I know Nutrena is a reputable brand, and have used it for my horse before. I decided to try this one 30/20 formula. I like a high fat and protein food for my lab and Dalmatian. They’re busy all day long and need this mix. What stood out was the kibble shape and form. It looked solid and not crumbly. It had a soft glossy brown color to it and wasn’t a nasty grayish brown like their old food which was Victor Professional. I fed them a 50/50 mix today bc I was running low on Victor and needed to get them fed tonight. They so far didn’t get diarrhea and enjoyed the taste of it. I don’t switch foods often at all and have stuck with Victor for many years but I think their quality went down and all the recalls. They have major food dust at the bottom of the bin and when I dumped in the Nutrena I noticed no dust at all! I’ll roll with this for a little bit and see (bought 3 bags). So far it’s a winner for them and me financially. Lmao!

It worked!!

We are slowly transitioning our Boxer & English Bulldog over to this. They seemed very intrigued & interested in it. Lots of sniffing was going on & they were very eager to try it. The back of the bag gives instructions on transitioning your fur-babies current food over to this so that is what we are doing. I like it is made in the USA, has high protein at 30%, no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. It also has Omegas 3 & 6 which I love along with added Glucosamine & Chondroitin Sulfate for joint support!

My dogs acted like this food was outrageously good

I didn't notice a strong 'dog food' smell when I opened this, just a chicken-y whiff. My dogs must smell something I dont though, because they started doing tricks

I didn't notice a strong 'dog food' smell when I opened this, just a chicken-y whiff. My dogs must smell something I dont though, because they started doing tricks and begging as soon as I cut the bag open. I gave them some for breakfast and they both dove into it, finishing it all, even my picky girl with her sensitive stomach. It's safe to say they both liked it. The kibbles are medium size, so good for a wide range of dogs, my two being about 80 and 65 lbs respectively. Neither one has been sick since starting. It also states on the bag that it has probiotics, which I love!

I held off writing this review for a few weeks so my dogs could get used to the food. I will tell you that the first time I put it in their bowls they gobbled it

I held off writing this review for a few weeks so my dogs could get used to the food. I will tell you that the first time I put it in their bowls they gobbled it up and still do! They act like they are getting a treat! So I know they love the taste of it. I myself love that it is high protein and has good ingredients in it for their health and heart. My dogs are big so I also like that it has Glucosamine in it for mobility.
