I have two older kitties, who are 17 yo and 11 yo. I can tell my 17 yo is slowing down physically and just walks more gingerly than he used to. My vet recommended glucosamime and started them on glucosamime soft chews. They refused to eat them. I then found this salmon flavored gel glucosamime and they both love it! Even my most finicky 17 yo kitty absolutely loves it and gets excited when I grab the tube and laps it up as of there is catnip in it. They have been taking it only for a couple weeks now, so it is challenging for me to tell how much it is helping yet. However, I have read other raving reviews saying that it really helped their cats mobility. So, I am hopeful!
Salmon joint gel
Nutri-Vet Salmon joint gel has helped my 14 yr old cat’s arthritic hips a great deal. Before he couldn’t walk without pain, he couldn’t jump up on anything or play. This product has changed his life! He feels so much better! I have my happy cat back!
I have a 5 1/2 year old tortoiseshell cat that has been having issues jumping and even lowering herself down to the floor. After less than a couple of weeks taking this, she’s been running at warp speed throughout the house chasing and playing with her sisfur. I’ve had her since 2019 and I’ve never seen her be this physically active. This has been a godsend for us!!! So joyful to see her happy and feeling better!!! This NutriVet was recommended to us by our veterinarian. ;)
Paste Format Wins Again
I am thrilled that this medication comes in a paste form, and that my cat likes the taste and consistency of it. There is no overpowering odor, and I can combine it with her L-lysine med. It's so easy to give her - no more sniffing and walking away, no struggling to get it down her throat. The paste format is a Godsend.
My older cat could barely walk 2 weeks ago didn't know what to do for her I went on this site to what may work I bought it still skeptical but I fed her this 2 times a day and she is now walking her own and is doing really well I'm surprised as stuff says it works and ends up not working this did work and will get more as needed
It Seems To Be Helping
My overweight cat fell and landed wrong, injuring his left leg and spine. We were afraid the leg might be paralyzed, but he recovered with only a very noticeable limp. The vet recommended this gel. It does seem to help, as his limp has subsided and only appears when he first stands up and starts to walk. He's still cautious about high jumps, but low ones are no problem. So, I ordered two more and will keep using it, at least until he loses enough weight to satisfy the vet and take the pressure off his spine. Might be a while!
We have a cat with 3 legs who is 14 years old and it seams to help her.
joint supplement cat
not sure if it works have been using capsule. she doesn't like the taste
Tried it but they didn't like it.
I tried mixing it in their treats but they wouldn't even eat the treat.
Steppin’ Up Improved!
Seamus, our 16 year old kitty, has been using “pet stairs” over the past year or so to get up on the bed. Recently he started hesitating using them - it seemed his right front leg was weakening as he went up. One time he toppled off the top step. After that he wouldn’t use them, and then would meow loudly to be picked up. Since giving him the Nutri-Vet he has improved and has resumed using the pet stairs on his own, and I’m getting a better night’s rest!
