It says mix one part mix with 2 part water. What is a part?

In this case, "part" refers to the dosage amount. For instance, if your pup is 5-lbs, then 1 part milk powder and 2 parts water would be 2 tablespoons of milk powder (the dosage amount for a 5-lb dog) and 4 tablespoons of water (2 times the dosage amount). Furthermore, for a 15-lb dog, 1 part milk powder and 2 parts water would be 6 tablespoons milk powder and 12 tablespoons of water.

This powder is readily accepted by newborn puppies and produces excellent growth rates and weight gain.

How do I give my lactating dog this product do I just put the powder in her food or do I mix it with water and have her drink it?

For Pregnant and Lactating Dogs: Mix 2 teaspoons of powder per 5 lbs of body weight per day into daily ration.

Why is it in BHA and BHT? Isnt it unhealthy to used it high quantities and almost 2 months to use for a newborn puppies?

These anti-oxidants/preservatives are important for the shelf-life of products containing significant fat levels. It is used to protect those fat sources from becoming rancid through the distribution channel and long storage times. These anti-oxidants/preservatives are still proven to be the most effective products for this purpose. The product contains a small quantity relative to the benefit of not having a rancid product.

As an Animal Control Officer I come across animals everyday. On Dec. 6, there was an incident. A neonate, LGD, came into my care, after his mother died. After seeking veterinary care just to make sure he was healthy, the veterinarian recommended this formula. This 1# pup is now almost 5# and thriving! Do I wish I could work for a bigger city where the city would pay the bill, yes! However, you have made it affordable for me to make sure he's healthy! Also a local Pets for Life had a bunch of donations and allowed me to take a box of puppy pads to help him. Those are amazing!!! Right now at 21 days, he's still spending 80% of his time napping in Chewy Boxes but only for a few more days. He's getting too big and he's starting to walk! I am including one fat pup pic on a pad and in a box, taking a nap! My children ordered him a puppy play pen. So here we go! We've made it! This formula seems so much better than the stuff I can get at the feed store.

It is probably an excellent product. I picked this milk replacer over the others because it had the colostrum added and was designed by vets.
