This food has an ash content of 7.87%, a magnesium content of 0.11% and a phosphorus content of 1.19% as fed.
Your product ingredient description doesnt mention the type of rice. Are one of the differences a change to white rice?

This recipe consists of Brewer's rice. Brewer's rice consists of small fragments of rice kernels that have been separated from the larger kernels of rice that is milled.

Best food for sensitive tummy’s…and the price is !

I used Hills sensitive dry formula for years but as my kitty count grew to 4 and 2 having sensitive tummies it became too expensive…after trying many brands I came across Nutro…it really helped with my babies bellies and the price is right…also the key to a good dry food is when they throw up it doesn’t stain the rug!!!

Nutro dry catfood

We have four cats, one of whom our vet, after many treatments, feels may have stomach cancer - seems to be a slow-growing type causing her to have constant diarrhoea. This has gone on for a couple of years - we have tried so many different types of dry and canned catfood, all to no avail. While the Nutro dry catfood has not made a difference to the diarrhoea, she really loves it and so do the other cats, so I am hoping that she gets some nutrition from it. We are hopeful.

It’s not her favorite

Wasn’t eating her full portion for the first week or two. Seems she’s starting to enjoy it more as her bowl has been cleaned as of recent.

Less Clean Up

My cats love Nutro! Two of my cats are older, so the smaller size of Nutro kibble is perfect for them. This sensitive cat formula seems to have done the trick in helping my cats not have stomach issues after eating, which means less clean up for me. Will buy again.

Nutro Essentials (Sensitive Cat) appears to be a high quality, tasty dry catfood that my finicky, older cats like better than any other brand that I've bought. And it is reasonably priced.

Life changes

Last time they plowed through it, this bag they don't like. I'm Leary about what will be discontinued, my critters favorites are becoming hard to find and costly...stupid pandemic

My cats love this!

I bought this as a temporary replacement for our usual food that you were temporarily out of. My cats went crazy for it! They loved it so much I bought it again! Chewy always has a great assortment of foods, toys & supplies for my cats. I live in a small town with little access to a reliable food source for good quality cat food. Chewy has what we need & they are quick to deliver it to our door! I appreciate that!

I have picky eater! That’s why 3 stars! It might be a great food!

Had to change his food to one for sensitive skin, vet recommended we try this one. We tried to transition him slowly but he picked out only his favorite food. I left this in his dish because my boy loves to eat! He wouldn’t touch it! I will be donating the bag to our local rescue. We had much better luck with the Blue brand for skin and coat!

Great for sensitive stomach cats

I have two cats with very sensitive digestion. And very picky taste. This is the only dry food so far (yes, I even had to cancel their favorite Italian brand....(( that promotes healthy poop. Overall, the cats like it (sometimes they do not like it, but i cannot figure the pattern), the only thing is the packaging: Supposedly, it is a re-sealable pack. TEchnically it is, but practically - we are on the fifth pack now, and this is the first time when I am actually using the seal strip: it was just getting off because it is not securely attached to the body of the package. That results in (even if you are a sealing magician, and can use clips and the like equally great) early "aging" of the content, and in 2.5 weeks my cat fully refuse to eat it from the same pack. But overall - this is truly great food!
