How long is the medium bone and does it have nubs

The X-Small is 3.75 inches, the Small is 4.5 inches, the Medium is 5.5 inches, the Large is 7.75 inches, and the X-Large is 9.5 inches. This chew toy is smooth.
Would the x small version be okay for a rat?

This product is intended as a chew toy and should not be ingested. Nylabone FlexiChew is designed for moderate chewers who are less aggressive. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
How flexible are these, ranging from wet noodle floppy to rock solid straight?

This toy is fairly firm but will have a little flexibility. It is designed for moderate chewers.

FlexiChew bone

So far I am loving these Nylabones. Because they are softer they can be tossed and dropped on the floor. The regular hard bones are like dropping rocks and we have tile floors, so loud and kind of scary. I think the softer texture is going to appeal to chewers that want a softer, more food like feel.

WARNING! Not for Power Chewers!

This is NOT indestructible! Within an hour, while I was in a Zoom meeting, my dog managed to eat the whole thing. After contacting her vet, we ended up in the local Per ER where they safely recovered most of the material. Fortunately, she had chewed it into small pieces and was able to successfully pass the rest without causing an obstruction. I put this review up in hopes to prevent a similiar experience for others.

Wish there were more flavors & sizes!

My dog loves chewing bones, especially nylabones, but cracked both of his back molars from chewing and had to have them removed. To be safe, we had to take away all of his hard nylabones so he doesn't crack anymore. I bought him this flexichew and some rubber chews, and this is his new favorite. I even have to take it away from him because he chews it for so long. It's held up pretty well, almost as good as the hard nylabones which was a surprise. I wish nylabone made more flavors in their flexichews. This is the only one I can find in the medium or large size. Hoping they add more flavors and sizes to the flexichews soon!

Best time passer

My Boston Terriers love Nyla Bones!!! They curb chewing on shoes, etc. and provide hours of healthy (no animal bones) fun and enjoyment. They clean their teeth as well! A great product at a great price! Thanks again Chewy for coming through!

Nylabone flexible chew

Perfect! This is what I have been looking for. It gives a little when they chew (mch easier on these canines to avoid breakage) and hard chewers like this gal is she cleans her gums. She loves it!

Didn’t last long

My dog had this bone for about 2 weeks. I thought it was going to last longer. She actually chewed the end off and I had to retrieve the piece from her mouth.

Good alternative to rubber bones

My dogs live real bones and don't like rubber bones. My 2 dogs are very strong chewers. These are a great alternative to save teeth from wear from hard bones. They mostly break down into very small pieces. We've had occasional 1 inch chunks. I have more on order.

Not for heavy chewers

My GS loves this, won't put it down, but have to take off him sometimes because he starts picking pieces off. I cut them off then give bk to him. It really keeps him busy. would have given 5 stars if lasted longer
