Nylabone Power Chew Chicken Flavored Knuckle Bone & Pop-In Treat Toy Combo Dog Chew Toy

As it says in previous reviews the treats that in each end of the bone are impossible to put in. My dog was watching me trying to put the treat in and although I wanted to toss it in the garbage, she was so excited I didn’t have the heart to not give it to her. I had to get my sharpest knife, shave a corner off of one side of each nugget, and since I wanted her to have to “work” for the treat, I didn’t take so much off that it slid in easily…so I still needed to literally POUND it into the holes with my metal meat hammer. I’m waiting to see if she destroys the bone itself as some other reviews mention. It’s a good idea, Nylabone, but as far as the nuggets go, “back to the drawing board”, please !! I did buy an extra bag of nuggets, and will try to use them before the bone is destroyed by my two extreme power chewers.

Great for Smaller Breeds

My 8 month old Cavapoo loves these. I took a star off because the treats are hard to pop in and out- I don’t have arthritis and it’s still hard for me. I can only imagine what it’s like for people who experience joint pain.

not for power chewers

i buy an assortment of nylabone chew toys for power chewers and this is the first that only lasted less than an hour. the white part is hard like a normal nylabone but the orange plastic around the treat holes is very soft and a puppy was able to quickly chew into it and start pulling it apart to try to eat it. had to take it away and it cannot be used with that soft easily chewed orange plastic. this one was a waste of money so i am very disappointed. not up to standard of what i expect in a nylabone

Nylabone Knuckle Bone

I have two dogs 45-50 lbs each. These were supposed to be for strong chewers. I put in the treats, which the dogs loved. However after chewing on the bones twice, they had chewed up the orange triangles that hold the treat and the nylabone was so chewed up, that I had to take them away and throw them out. Very disappointing.

One of my favorite purchases ever

I hardly ever write reviews but I just got on here to order more refills and had to. I have a 2 year old Rottweiler mix who is a tough chewer. I will say, within maybe two weeks (not in constant use), the treats did become a little more difficult to insert from the amount of chewing in that area altering the gap (which is to be expected). BUT I am not disappointed with this toy whatsoever, my dog absolutely loves it, I am able to insert new treats by just placing it in and using a hard surface to push it in with my palm. It is a great distraction for when I have people over or when I am trying to get some work done. I will be buying another, maybe even two.

Definitely not a power chew

1. It was hard to put the treats into the areas, I was only able to get one side in. 2. My dog will tear apart anything accept for the tough chews by nylabone but this one he did. It was demolished in about 12 hours. So now, he's going to get the treats without the bone. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a touch chewer.

Not worth anything!

I purchased this on Friday, it arrived on Sunday and by Monday it was destroyed. I am beyond disappointed. The treats shown in the pix with the bones were not there but fortunately (???) I had purchased an additional bag. I cant use the treats as a snack (according to the bag) so am not sure what to do with them. I decided to not bother with the pix as mine is similar to a couple of others, maybe a little worse. I personaly think this is a dangerous toy for my dog. Shame on you Nylabone.

not worth it

At first I thought this would be great my dog loved it. However with every time I tried to insert treats it became harder and by about 4 th time it was impossible so it and the extra treats I bought for it are useless

Destroyed in a week

I have a power chewer who absolutely loved this bone, but she pulled out the rubber part where the treat goes in, so now I can't stuff it anymore. Even with the rubber piece, it took all my strength leaning into the counter to push it in. If I had taken it away from her sooner and only gave it back at treat time, then it might have lasted longer, but in no way is it "indestructible."

Bones

My babies love these bones they can sit for an hour and just work in getting the stuff out of them, trust me that’s an accomplishment! My one dog has chewed an end of already though.
