Had this for months and he’s still chewing! My pup is a 70lb pitbull and very aggressive chewer. He likes to chew on this on his own. It’s just barely bigger than his mouth but he is able to hold the middle with both ends sticking out of his mouth. He likes to hold one end between his paws while gnawing on the other and. It is very spiky after he’s chewed on it so much so it hurts to step on or for me to play with but it’s very durable and a good chew toy. No small pieces have broken off or anything like that so I’m not worried about safely when I’m not home to watch him chew.

This thing is as hard as a rock. I'm giving it two stars because the dog likes the smell and the shape of it, but I don't feel comfortable even sitting right next to him watching him chew it. He's an "extreme" chewer but he can still break a tooth, and I think if he chewed this hard enough to get a piece off like he wants to he would! Maybe if you really let your dog chew on antlers and bones etc you would like this but imo it should have some small amount of give to be safe. It's too bad because he does want me to let him have it but it's not the nylabone texture I expected
