Instructions
It's important to select the proper size & type of chew for your dog's age, weight & chewing strength. Non-edible chews should be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than top & bottom. If you have more than one dog in your household, select chews appropriate for the largest, strongest chewer. Always supervise the use of all chews & toys. Product is not intended to be eaten or ingested. During normal chewing, small bristle-like projections will be raised, which help clean teeth. If you think your dog swallowed a large piece, take the product away and contact your veterinarian. Inspect before giving to your dog to make sure it's whole and intact. Check frequently & replace if worn or damaged, ends are worn down, or if it becomes too small to chew safely. Hand wash with warm soap water & rinse thoroughly.

Disappointed x 2

My boy, Karl, loves this toy! Unfortunately, even though I’ve purchased it twice, it does not last more than a couple of hours. He pops it apart and chews it up. I’ve checked numerous times to ensure I close it correctly. Though the packaging says it’s for strong chewers, my strong chewer destroys it on the first use :-( I had such high hopes due to the name brand.
Can't twist off top after a couple days of use

One side is supposed to open like a childproof pill bottle. It worked fine when it arrived and I filled it with treats for our 30-pound puppy, and again the first time I refilled it. A couple days later and the cap seems stripped and won't twist off at all. No visible damage from outside. There's no way to refill it so it's now garbage.
Treat bone
keeps the dog entertained and busy working on getting the treats out.

The game requires my dog to bite it to get the treat. What thin an hour she bit it off and but the inside which meant it could not be refilled or reclosed. I bought

This is amazing! I have such a hard time finding things that will last a while. All I did is put a little bit of peanut butter and it kept him busy for a solid

probably durable! but confusing
i thought you were going to be able to put kibble in it and have it fall out as they rolled / chewed it.. but they have to crunch it to get bits out and you can
i thought you were going to be able to put kibble in it and have it fall out as they rolled / chewed it.. but they have to crunch it to get bits out and you can only put a tiny amount in the middle of the insert. overall, won’t work for my dogs. but hopefully i can modify it somehow to make it work for something.
Love it!
Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from buying this. You HAVE to make sure you twist it back together correctly. First time i used it, my pup got it apart
Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from buying this. You HAVE to make sure you twist it back together correctly. First time i used it, my pup got it apart. Figured out what i did wrong, tho. Next time she chewed on it for 2 hours and it never came apart. Once you get it together correctly it is a perfect chew bone.
Just don't
My doggo loves this. It's perfect for her chew strength. Twice I've added small kibble. Now it will not open. This was a expensive toy/treat. My poor girl keeps

WOULD BE CAUTIOUS!!
My concerns would be 1) the middle plastic that holds the treats would be too hard chipping or fracturing teeth, making gums bleed. 2) It would be too soft splintering
My concerns would be 1) the middle plastic that holds the treats would be too hard chipping or fracturing teeth, making gums bleed. 2) It would be too soft splintering causing possible swallowing hazard and surgery for abstraction or worse death! 3) Same thing with outer shell plastic with the holes they chew on, if shredded and ingested abstraction possible surgery or death! If too hard chipping of the teeth or bleeding gums! 4) If using pastes WHAT A MESS to clean up with all the dog saliva and paste on your carpet or dog bed (wherever they are eating it at). I am not knocking Nylabone they are a GREAT company and I personally buy many of their products but I think this is one product that should have stayed off the shelf! Great concept though.
