Get the one without the heater.

The filter works great. The heater, not so much. It is rated up to 30 gallons and I have a 20 gallon long tank and it keeps my water 10 degrees under what I have

The filter works great. The heater, not so much. It is rated up to 30 gallons and I have a 20 gallon long tank and it keeps my water 10 degrees under what I have it set to. I have the heater cranked to 86 and my water fluctuates from 75 to 77 most of the time. I had to buy a secondary heater to keep my fish happy. This gets 3 stars because the filter is good, and I liked the idea of a hidden heater. But made me spend more money and now I have a visible heater in my tank.
