Oase makes arguably some of the best filters money can buy. Super quiet and easy to clean. Tons of space for biomedia, plus you can customize sponges to fit very easily. I added coarse sponge, then medium, then thick poly pads layered top to bottom in the first section, second section is carbon (it comes with two bags to start) under a big 30 ppi foam block, the last compartment fits 200 grams of k1 media in mesh bags. It has a ton of flow and my water stays crystal clear. I used HOB filters for years and I wouldn't go back since using this canister filter. Highly recommended.
