Great for long hair cats

This is the only brush I've found that my long hair kitty let's me come near her with. Really gets a lot of fur off...can be a little messy, but worth it.

My shorthair cat sheds like a mother, and this gets the hair out before it becomes tumbleweeds. Cat can only tolerate it in short spurts but she enjoys it while we are using it (and she tends to be sensitive to brushing overall).
