Is this cruelty free?

Clean Control has its own Research and Development laboratory where it conducts the majority of its development and testing of products. Animals are not used for testing in this facility, nor are tests ordered that require animal testing at outside facilities. Clean Control does not have an absolute policy against animal-derived products. However, it does review and document animal-derived raw materials for animal-derived content and uses alternatives from synthetic sources when readily available. For instance, it uses synthetic glycerin. Statements are not provided on labels about being cruelty-free as this brand refrains from verbiage such as "cruelty-free" and "not tested on animals" since there is no clear legal definition as to what they mean.

Our 100 pound dog fell and hurt his leg and couldn’t walk and was on his cushion for two weeks. He sometimes had an accident we couldn’t bathe him. This took the smell away from the cushion and the dog and left a pleasant lavender smell and we knew it was clean as well. I freshen his cushion every other day with it so we don’t have project. dog smell. It’s a great product. Just leaves a fresh clean scent not like you sprayed a deodorizer
