Thought about getting this for a friend's dog who's neck size is 13in. Would I need the 16in or 20in collar? The sizing is a bit confusing :/

For 12-inch collars add 2 inches to your dog’s exact neck size for correct collar sizing. For remaining sizes add 4 inches to your dog exact neck size for correct collar sizes. If the measurement is in between sizes, size up. In this case, the 16-inch collar will fit neck sizes between 12-14 inches.
Do the colors bleed when wet?

As this is made of leather which is a porous material, this collar may bleed.
my dog weighs about 50lbs not too big off a head she is a pit bull though . what size should i get?

The 12-inch, 14-inch, 16-inch, and 20-inch collars are 5 millimeters thick. The 24-inch and 26-inch collars are 4 millimeters thick.

Strong smell
I like everything about this collar, except the stong chemical smell. We have had it a few weeks and have not been able to use it yet, due to the smell.
Beautiful collar
Very pleased with the quality of this collar. I bought it too large and was easily able to punch new holes to accommodate my growing pup. The pink color is very attractive and may actually buy another so I can keep them clean.
Would buy again
Wish this width collar came just about an inch longer! But longer is wider in most leather collars, and I've got English bulldogs... so it wouldn't work on her big but short neck if we up-sized, so we are in the last hole to buckle. The collar itself is nice. I like the pattern. We use a slip lead for walks, so this is the equivalent of dog jewelry.
