Does this adjust smaller
Answer by ChewyDec 06, 2017
This collar can be adjusted shorter or longer. The inches of how much it can be adjusted depends on the specific size. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

My dog is 5 lbs. which length does he need?
Answer by ChewyOct 11, 2018
To get the most accurate size collar for your furry best friend, measure the center of their neck a with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck. We recommend if you have a toy breed or small dog, add an inch to the neck measurement. For medium and large dogs, add two inches to the neck measurement.

Should I be concerned with the spikes hurting my dog when playing around with him?
Answer by ChewyOct 09, 2019
A spiked collar will not hurt your dog. While the spikes themselves can be quite sharp, they are placed in a way that does not cause injury to your pet. The only injury that can come from a spiked collar is when a person or another dog attempts to grab your dog’s neck.

Is this collar big enough for a 220 pound mastiff
Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2018
This collar was made for extra small, toy and small Breed dogs.

Keeps dogs from biting necks during play

One of my dogs is extremely rough when he plays; in the past, he's been known to bite off collars and tear them apart, or would drag one of the other dogs around by their neck. I found that these spiked collars, which not at all sharp, are just unpleasant enough in the mouth to prevent further biting or chewing. They're comfortable for even my short-haired dogs, and I even put one on my cat who tends to be a little TOO tolerant and would let the dogs drag him around during play. I highly recommend it for teething puppies too — my foster puppy found out very quickly that metal is not fun to chew on!

Right Size Makes All the Difference

Collar is heavy duty and well made. Gus appears comfortable with it.

Not strong enough

Within 3 days my 37lb Izzy snapped/broke this by running and playing while on her dog run. I am attempting to add a picture of the damaged collar but your site does not tell me picture is added successfully or not :(

Nice collar for the price!

Bought this collar for my daughters smaller dog so that when my larger pitbull and Zuka play, there's no shenanigans ;) It's really inexpensive for the nice quality (soft and flexible) and holds up well!

Cutest Collar

Cutest collar if you want your little girl to look tough! good quality too but if your dog is a swimmer like mine I recommend you take it off when they swim:)

Bright color

Strong good leather collar. Nice bright color. I bought this for my older dog to keep a new puppy from biting and pulling on her neck. The spikes work well for this until we can get the new puppy completely trained.
