I think the manufacturer was trying too hard to mimic real life 5ft tree shrubs when they made this..... My cats would explore it and once it starts swaying back and forth they would jump off..... The assembly was quite easy even though the instructions were amusing. "If rod is not long enough, unscrew a little bit to make it longer...." Probably need to anchor it down like the other person with the L-shaped brackets to keep it from wobbling. At least one of my cats found something they liked.....
I was excited to get this for my cats, but they won’t use it because it’s too wobbly. I spent a lot of money on a cat tree that looks nice but that my cats don’t like. Even with treats layer on every level the cats still won’t get on it.
Love the concept of the tree, but the shelves are too small for an average sized cat. The tree would probably be appropriate for small kitttens though. The top shelf has the largest unobstructed area for a cat to sleep. My 6 lb cat could curl up there if she wanted to, but she doesn't seem to care for the tree much. The same shelf is definitely is too small for my 10 lb and my 14 lb cat. Assembly was easy and the tree is sturdier than I had expected.
I think the cat tree is great for any playful cat. I have a 4 month old kitten and he LOVES it already. Although while I was putting it together. I noticed the middle section wooden piece doesn’t have any holes for the leaves to go into. So it looks pretty goofy. I’m not sure who to contact about getting a replacement piece. I would it more if this tree was put together the way it’s intended to be.
Gave this to my nephew, Maximus the bobcat for Christmas. Took him about a month to start using it. Now he loves it. Loves to hide in it and jump out at my sister. Lol.
My cats LOVE this! This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased and all 3 of my cats love to perch on it and look out the window.
My cats love this so much. They play with the leaves and branches and go nuts in the fake grass
My cats love this tree so much, I had to recently get a second one!
Cute idea, branches do not stay attached. Attached are pictures of the sharp metal ends of the branches that will have to be hot glued to be secured.
Initially, I loved it but eventually, my cat started eating the leaves and then throwing them up.
