Are the wet food cans in both sizes BPA Free?

Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a chemical that can be found in the lining of some cans and is used in many consumer products. It is now found in very low levels in the environment around us, making it impossible to eliminate it 100%. For this reason, ORIJEN cannot say the cans their food is packaged in are BPA-free. However, the cans are non-intent BPA, which means BPA is not used in the making of the cans or added to the cans

My kitty wastes it

The ingredients look great. When opened, it has a lot of "broth" but seems to take away from how much food is actually in the cans. When refrigerated, that "broth"

The ingredients look great. When opened, it has a lot of "broth" but seems to take away from how much food is actually in the cans. When refrigerated, that "broth" becomes a gelatin. I read other reviews but found few canned foods without tons of garbage ingredients. My Wilson turns his nose up to this every time.

However I've been told Purina no longer makes that item. They like their Amerrican Nourney duck kibble - so what it is about this one product which is a "turn off" to thim, i've no clue.

I thought she'd love this. She has never had duck before, and didn't like that or lamb. Maybe it doesn't have enough meat smell to entice her! Ate a couple bites

Quality food sadly wasted

I believe this is great food for cats. And some seem to love it. So I splurged on it bc I wanted the best for my new sweet kitty. I give it 3 stars bc the first

I believe this is great food for cats. And some seem to love it. So I splurged on it bc I wanted the best for my new sweet kitty. I give it 3 stars bc the first several ingredients are a protein source and there are no unhealthy fillers. I've been trying for months to get my cat to finish her portions. When I first open the can she will come sniff, and sometimes she pretends to cover it and walks away, or takes a few licks and a nibble not finishing. I then refrigerate the leftover can in a sealed bowl for the next meal. But she will NOT hardly touch it again. I've tried warming it up, adding homemade broth, a squeeze treat, or water etc., but she just licks the liquid and maybe eats a couple nibbles. I've tried every flavor of Orijen wet food and switched to 3oz cans thinking she may have a preferred flavor or the larger can isn't as tasty reheated?! But she never EVER finishes the portion I give her. l do NOT give her a lot: usually approx. 1/4 of a 5oz can or 1/3 of a 3 oz can. I feel with this food being very expensive for my budget it just burns me to be wasted. I really hate to waste it, but if she won't eat in a few hours, it has to be thrown out bc it gets crusty from sitting out. I've recently began supplementing with orijen dry food bc she's already so skinny I need her to eat something! She does seem to eat the crunchy food thankfully. But I know wet food is better for cats and I really wanted Orijen to work bc it's quality food. But alas sadly, I need to try something else at this point for her. ^..^
