I love the healthy ingredients. My dogs love the flavor and cant get enough. I switched from blue buffalo, which I thought was also good dog food, but I just liked the ingredients of this food better and my dogs were picky eating blue buffalo and would spit out the small darker pieces of the blue buffalo before. They showed little enjoyment out of their previous food before, unless they were really hungry. With Orijen my boys devour every bite of kibble and noticeably love it way better. So for us, it was a win, win. It is a little bit more expensive of a brand but it comes with way better ingredients that hopefully prove healthier for my dogs and their active lifestyles. So far so good!
Horrible on arrival

It was old or the bad had been dropped too many times, it makes my dog cough to eat it so I add canned food to it to make it tolerable for him, I want a refund but do know who to talk to! I have never had this problem before and will not buy dry kibble from Chewy again!

I've used this brand now for 20 years for my dogs. It's the best brand there is (5 star rated) in terms of ingredients (just read the ingredient list vs. 'regular' kibble). A healthy mix of high quality protein and vegetables with no filler and ingredients chosen to be suitable for dogs. I've fed 5 dogs this, and they've all lived past 13 years and didn't have health problems, which is great for the medium to large dogs I've had. My dog I have now is 13 1/2 and still loving her life. It is expensive, but the quality is so good you don't have to feed nearly as much as cheaper regular brands. I usually put a tiny taste of 'topper' (leftover human food) on the kibble, and she's happy! One other advantage is their stool is perfect on this brand... not too loose or too hard so my dogs rarely had accidents or struggled to poo. I warn you though, if you start feeding this, your dog will not want to eat any other brand. My dog now refuses to eat anything else and will hold out for DAYS rather than eat the cheaper brands.

I really wanted this food to work for my dogs. I have 2 corgis and a border collie. Very active farm/ranch life. I'm on my third bag and they blow up in their crates and in the house. POOP EVERYWHERE. I slowly transitioned them from their previous food. Ive tried to mix it with raw food at a lower rate. They eat it just fine but the mess is telling me this isn't for us. Ive never had such poop problems with their previous food.

I have always given my dogs good food or at least I try. For years I have used Blue and their coat has always been very shiny. However a few moths ago I saw their coat get dull and hard. In the past I have used Orijen a hand full of timesand did not see a difference. But like I sated earlier with blue their coat was not the same anymore. So I decided to try Orijen again and within days the brightness and softness came back. I will stick with Orijen from now on.
