Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

My Pyrenal Mastiff 16 month pup went off her previously favorite Orijen Large puppy kibble around her first heat in June 2022. Since then has been a very picky eater. She has lost weight. She loves the Tundra freeze dried dog treats so I thought I would give this a try. They are very expensive but the ingredients are great. Tried a whole medallion crumbed on top of her kibble and also tried soaked on top of kibble. She was interested when I fed her a piece or two while preparing her dinner. When it was in her bowl, she would pick at a few pieces and give up. Sadly, did not work for her as a topper.
Normally we feed the six fish dry food, but after me of our dogs passed away, his brother stopped eating, he was/ still is depressed and mourning, wouldn’t eat his food that he typically loves. Started feed this twice a day, now down to once a day. He gobbles it up and is starting to eat his dry food again.
Dog loves it, she walks into the kitchen at mealtime like the dogs do in cartoons, nose up in the air sniffing the great smell.
I love the ingredients. I'll be using this as a topper on their kibble. I'm sure my dogs will love it.
This is expensive food; however, my pregnant gal was fed this as a mixer all thru her last 3 weeks of gestation & she whelped 8 beautifully fat, healthy pups. We tried this while it was on sale, but I think I will keep it on my monthly order to feed to Mama during lactation & to the pups as a mixer. We are a new breeder & out mission is to create & provide the best quality pups as is possible. I think this food will lend itself to meeting that goal.
I use this as a topper for my dog's meal and she loves it. She's sitting there impatiently licking her lips when I am preparing this meal for her.
I love Orijen products. My dog enjoys the kibble and I thought he would enjoy these toppers. He was fairly open to the original flavor but when I tried the Tundra version it was a recurring snub. The product looks great, I just have a picky eater. The problem is that if you moisten them, you need to consume them within a reasonable amount of time, so I wasted quite a few. Orijen is awesome however.
I have 5 different breeds of dogs with different likes in foods and treats. When I opened the bag of Orijen Tundra freeze dried topper all 5 of my dogs loved them! They are thicker and a little larger than Stella and Chewy’s and crumble easily into the bowl. I would like to see a larger bag made in the future!
My active Vizsla/Lab loves these as a topper. I give her 2 a day and it encourages her to eat as well!
Bought these specifically because it’s hurricane season. That sounds funny, but I wanted to be able to continue feeding my dog healthy, whole foods, even when the power was out and we had to evacuate. This exactly fits that bill and has a much better texture than several other dehydrated foods I’ve tried. I am also thinking it would be perfect for adventure seeking families that enjoy RVing and camping. It’s super easy to use when traveling. The food is in little disks and only requires a bit of hot water and time to rehydrate. Easy enough! I do prefer and think they rehydrate better if you break them up a bit before adding the water, but you don’t have to. Will totally be purchasing again!
