ACTIVATE YOUR KIT- GO to orivet.com/activate.

COLLECT YOUR DOGS DNA- Use all of the enclosed swabs to collect your sample by rubbing the swab on the inside of you dogs cheek for 10-15 seconds. Note: No eating for 10 minutes before collection.

ALLOW SWABS TO DRY- Let the swabs air dry for at least 10 minutes before placing them back in their pouch. Note: Do not tightly seal the pouch.

MAIL US BACK THE SAMPLES- Once you have collected the samples place the pouch containing the swabs into the envelope provide and mail them back to us.

Easy to use

So I purchased one for each of my 2 d,ogs. I still have to test my lab mix but the Great Dane has been tested and I felt the results were accurate. The test is easy

So I purchased one for each of my 2 d,ogs. I still have to test my lab mix but the Great Dane has been tested and I felt the results were accurate. The test is easy enough to do and cost wasn't too bad for a DNA test. My only problem was it took forever for results like months.. the company communicates well at first but then I didn't hear anymore from them and I had to follow up.

DO NOT TRUST

I am a customer of a breeder who used this company and I can honestly say if there was a 0 star option I would put that. This company has taken all the joy and excitement

I am a customer of a breeder who used this company and I can honestly say if there was a 0 star option I would put that. This company has taken all the joy and excitement out of the process of purchasing my puppy. I have been waiting for my breeder to receive the information on the puppies paternity all month and they still keep pushing back the deadline and avoiding responsibility when confronted. I have called and emailed with barely any response in return. They have given false promises and expectations that they have been unable to uphold. There is honesty nothing good to say about Orivet. I am a very patient person but I am tired of being strung along when all I want to my puppy to come home which can’t happen until they give my breeder his paternity. I was supposed to have the information and my puppy over two weeks ago. This is absurd, they make their customers feel ignored, powerless and unimportant. There actions not only have affected me, but they affect my breeder who is just tying to do the best she can for her business. If you are thinking of trusting this company with your pets DNA or the DNA their offspring, DONT! Unless of course you enjoy waiting x4 longer than you expect

Not impressed and here is why....

I ordered 2 test kits for 2 dogs. Both samples were mailed to them on 4/15. They didn't log the 1st dog until 10 days later, then took another week to start processing

I ordered 2 test kits for 2 dogs. Both samples were mailed to them on 4/15. They didn't log the 1st dog until 10 days later, then took another week to start processing and now it's been in "lab review" for 6 days. The other sample they claimed they didn't receive. They told me last Tuesday a replacement test was mailed. Today I asked them about it and they sent tracking numbers which show that only labels have been created and they're claiming the replacement is just now being sent out. If I don't get that 2nd test kit by the end of the week I'm going to ask for refunds and the same if they keep delaying results on the dog that they did get the sample on. I'm not even sure I will trust the results at this point even though I have an idea of what we think the breed is on the sample they did get.

If you are in a hurry, don’t bother with Orivet DNA test.

It’s been nearly 5 months and still haven’t got any results from the dna test.
