The vest features two heating levels—high (red light) and low (blue light). You can easily switch between them based on your dog’s needs. There’s also a glowing white light mode that acts as a visibility light for nighttime safety but doesn’t emit heat.

The vest is made with durable, abrasion-resistant fabric that is easy to clean. We recommend spot cleaning for minor dirt and grime. The heated dog vest is also machine washable. Please remove the battery pack and wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle.

This Ororo heated/padded dog vest is exceptionally well made. The outer material is waterproof nylon and the lining and filling are 100% polyester. It can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle with battery unplugged. When I received my padded dog vest, it did not include a battery pack, so I purchased one separately. It takes a 7.4 volt UL/CE certified rechargeable battery. The power cord is located in a pocket on the outer surface of the vest. There is also an opening underneath the top of the pocket to attach a leash, if desired. I'm looking forward to using the Ororo dog vest. We have a farm and my dog loves to run and explore. The cold weather is almost here and Harry will be ready! One note - make sure to be aware of the sizing. I have a small size vest and sizing tends to run large. There are adjustable side-chest straps and also adjustable leg straps, but pay attention to the measurements given before ordering. Ororo is a very reputable maker of exceptional heated outerwear for humans and I'm excited that they now also make outerwear for dogs!

So then i thought maybe my other dog who is a belgain mal could fit in it, but bit was too small for him. Was going to try it on my mom’s shih-tzu wince he is bigger then my guy. But it was still too big, even for him. So, i was very disappointed. It was a size small and i have another jacket for him also a small that fits him perfect but the size difference between the two was significant. Anyway, I can’t use it on anyone and was quite disappointed.
