                Heavy. Gets hot pretty fast

                So I can see why people love this. It’s a powerhouse. BUT- it is bulky and heavy. It also heats pretty darn fast. One other note, there’s a case of guides/guards

One other note, there’s a case of guides/guards that is sold on the chewy website that said it is for this unit. Heads up. It is not compatible. So I took off one star for the weight and the heat but other than that it’s a solid unit. Would buy again.

                Perfect 2 Speed Clipper

                The A5 Oster 3 speed clipper is perfect for cutting my Miniature Schnauzer. The lower speed is great for around the ears and neck as it is much quieter.

                Body of unit too hot to handle

                Overheats Quickly

                After running it for just a few minutes the clipper got very hot. I had to let it cool for about 20 minutes before I could use it again and it overheated quickly

                After running it for just a few minutes the clipper got very hot. I had to let it cool for about 20 minutes before I could use it again and it overheated quickly again. I had the same Oster Golden A5 clipper for over 30 years and it never overheated like this one. I don’t know if it’s faulty or maybe they just aren’t made as well anymore.
