The scratch pad part of the item does not stick to the incline base. No where close to being sticky enough to hold it. Falls apart every time. I will buy strong glue to see if I can fix it but for the price it is definitely NOT WORTH IT.
This is a bit flimsy for the power scratchers, but still did great. It collapsed under my heavy duty scratcher, but the scratcher part did hold up for some days, before he destroyed it. The others loved it, and I think I would recommend it for them.
Mine arrived damaged, I taped it back together, but it came apart again, so it s just laying flat now the cardboard part isnt holding up the scrach pad.
The design only works for small cats. About a week after assembly, it started to crush under the weight of an adult cat, about 14 pounds.
Had to tape the top part to hold my cat's weight,8 lbs. other than that she loves the slant scratcher very much.
This item is not sturdy enough for large cats (mine are close to 20 lbs). I had to reinforce with duck tape
Did not expect to unfold ramp portion. May be why it was not sturdy for my cats' rambunctious use.
Collapsed immediately. My kitty is only 10 lbs. Cool idea, but the triangle cubby hole was literally useless.
So much better than a flat scratcher. I have a 20+ lb tomcat and it stands up to him...you would never know how sturdy it is until you put it together and let your cat have at it! Totally worth the extra money. Thanks Chewy!
I am really disappointed in this product. I had a similar one that lasted for years. This one buckled in the first day. My cats love the incline and we’re attracted to scratcher. It just didn’t hold up.
