Does not keep my dog afloat

We’re trying to teach our dog to swim and want her to be safe when she goes on the paddle board while she can’t swim. Unfortunately, this does nothing to keep her

We’re trying to teach our dog to swim and want her to be safe when she goes on the paddle board while she can’t swim. Unfortunately, this does nothing to keep her afloat even though she is within the weight range and the vest is actually a little too large around her middle. We’ll have to find another vest.
