While the chest girth is the recommended measurement for this life jacket, the X-Small is suitable for dogs 5-15 pounds or a chest girth of 11-15 in. The Small is suitable for dogs 15-30 lbs or a chest girth of 16-20 inches. The Medium is suitable for dogs 30-55 pounds or a chest girth of 21-27 inches. The Large is suitable for dogs 55-85 pounds or chest girth of 28-32 inches. The X-Large is suitable for dogs 85-100 pounds or a chest girth of 33-44 inches.
