would a golden Retriever be able to destroy it if I left him alone while I went to work?

Answer by ChewyNov 05, 2018
Although Mazee is built for durability, it's intended for puzzle-play, not chewing, so it is not rated on our Durability Scale. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Would this work with kibble? I want to slow down mealtime.

Answer by ChewyJun 02, 2020
This toy is suitable to put kibble food inside to help slow down mealtime.

Where is this manufactured?

Answer by ChewySep 05, 2019
All Orbee-Tuff products are made in the USA.

Can this toy be rinsed as a way of cleaning or does it ABSOLUTELY need to be thrown away?

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2021
This toy is easy to clean by hand, or on the top rack of the dishwasher.

My girl had loads of fun with this toy, but sadly she managed to hide it from me and chew it until the internal frame had some damage. Normally she isn't a big chewer, but it was just a couple minutes after this toy was empty before the inner plastic parts were damaged. The plastic is a bit flimsy on inspection, however I am blaming myself for not monitoring my girl more closely! Overall a good puzzle, needs closer monitoring than some. Food/treats can come out very fast.

The outside is sturdy chew resistant plastic. But the insides are hard plastic baffles that break easily when the outside is chewed. Unfortunately my male golden got a hold of this and chewed which broke some inner baffles. It still works for my female who just rolls it around and gobbles up the treats. But I have to keep it away from my male who wants to keep chewing and breaking the inner baffles.

Did not withstand a Golden Retriever...

I bought this thinking it would be a longer lasting variation of the snoop... since they have to work the treats thru the maze. Nope... my dog just chewed it till

I bought this thinking it would be a longer lasting variation of the snoop... since they have to work the treats thru the maze. Nope... my dog just chewed it till the maze collapsed. Not a good fit for bigger dogs that get hored easylily. Might be a better fit for non-chewers and dogs 30 pds and under.

Easy to clean, easy to fill, easy to use, Oakley is happy!

Oakley immediately understood this "toy." Zero seconds learning time! The plastic seems substantial. Oakley likes to chew on plastic so I remove the "toy" as soon

Oakley immediately understood this "toy." Zero seconds learning time! The plastic seems substantial. Oakley likes to chew on plastic so I remove the "toy" as soon as it is empty of kibble or small dry, solid treats. This puzzle/toy comes in colors so that it is not lost on the floor. My only complaint is that often too much kibble comes out at one time. That said, I'm not sure that more than 30 seconds would be saved by a smaller opening. Oakley likes eating so this toy occupies ALL of his attention when he sees it.

Cute but not as great as I had hoped.

It’s a cute idea and my 3 month old catahoula puppy LOVES to play with any kind of ball. It dumps almost all the treats or kibble at the same time. Great concept

It’s a cute idea and my 3 month old catahoula puppy LOVES to play with any kind of ball. It dumps almost all the treats or kibble at the same time. Great concept but the opening is much too big. He has more fun dragging it around the house by the opening than when it has treats inside. The material is thin so it won’t last long with any kind of chewer. Best for less destructive and older dogs.

Excellent maze!

Robin loves it. She is only four months and she was not eating well so I put some of her kibble in and she eat it all. Now I put the treats so she enjoys playing

Easily destroyed

In my dog's effort to get the treats, she just destroyed the ball. This is NOT for strong chewers like my Pittie!

Starts out great but breaks easily

I love to give my dog treat dispensing toys. He loved this thing but in less than 2 weeks the plastic maze insert broke and pieces came out the hole. For reference,

I love to give my dog treat dispensing toys. He loved this thing but in less than 2 weeks the plastic maze insert broke and pieces came out the hole. For reference, my dog is not a heavy chewer. He was 2 in May and he still has every single other toy he has been given - including stuffed ones - and he has a lot of toys. Outward Hound needs to go back to the drawing board with this one - design is great but material is defective.
