What are the dimensions of the cage? What is the space between the bars?

The Large habitat measures 40 x 18 x 22 inches, with a Play Yard measuring 39 x 35 x 16.25 inches. The X-Large habitat measures 47.25 x 23.25 x 26.5 inches, with a Play Yard measuring 45.25 x 39 x 19.75 inches. Measurements are given as length x width x height. The bar spacing for each size is approximately 1 inch.

Is the play yard detachable from the cage itself?

DO NOT BUY!!!!

This is WAAAYYYYY too small for any bunny or guinea pigs!! Your beloved pet will be tortured in this thing. Plus bunnies can easily jump out of the 'play yard.'

This is WAAAYYYYY too small for any bunny or guinea pigs!! Your beloved pet will be tortured in this thing. Plus bunnies can easily jump out of the 'play yard.' There is no amount of outside play time that will make up for making them live in a sad, stressful prison. Oxbow is usually such a good brand and I would expect so much more from them. PLEASE do at least a little research before bringing home a new friend and give them the space they deserve!! This is 100000% a waste of money. Buy a pack of C&C grids for $30 instead.
