This food contains Spinach Powder for flavoring. Spinach is high in vitamin A but in low doses is safe and can contribute to the delectable flavor of Garden Select foods.

Can my dwarf hammys eat this& my gerbil?

This food in intended for rats. For gerbils and hamsters we recommend Oxbow Garden Select Gerbil & Hamster Food.

My rat is SO fat! Is this food going to complicate his problem? The more I feed him, the fatter he gets and the more he wants.

Lasts a long time

I only have one rat at the moment and one bag lasts 2 months. I refill her bowl as needed and it’s long lasting for just one rat.

Pricey for the amount

They love it !

Both we and our furry companions are very happy with this adult rat food. We’ve always fed Oxbow Essentials knowing that it’s a complete, well balanced main diet

Both we and our furry companions are very happy with this adult rat food. We’ve always fed Oxbow Essentials knowing that it’s a complete, well balanced main diet. However, in trying the Garden Select we noticed that they loved it even more and being of the lab block shape, I wasn’t afraid of them overeating. Another great option!
