It shows a picture of Spinach and I just wanted to make sure it doesn't have any in it, because Rats can't have Spinach. Thanks!

This food contains Spinach Powder for flavoring. Spinach is high in vitamin A but in low doses is safe and can contribute to the delectable flavor of Garden Select foods.
Can my dwarf hammys eat this& my gerbil?

This food in intended for rats. For gerbils and hamsters we recommend Oxbow Garden Select Gerbil & Hamster Food.
My rat is SO fat! Is this food going to complicate his problem? The more I feed him, the fatter he gets and the more he wants.

Well liked

The ratty boys love this food. I do have to watch they don't eat too much as they tend to gain weight with it quickly. Good size pellets are approximately 1/2" diam. 3/4" length. (Length varies)

Rats love this!

I bought a 2.5 pound bag of this to mix with the other food I give my rats. They loved this! It is like a treat to them. I plan to get the bigger bag from now on.

Good option for rats

I use this in combination with Oxbow Essentials. My rats prefer Essentials but will eat these big round pellets after they finish their other kibble. I like that these are a little larger in size. I hide them in their bedding for foraging and enrichment. The bag is ziplock so the food stays safe and fresh. I really like the smell of this food too : )

Not a hit with the rats

My rats like the other oxbow food way better, they hardly touch this one. Not impressed.

Picky rats

My rats were on the oxbow triangle looking food their entire lives. couldn’t find it locally and had to grab a bag of this. They stuck their noses up at first but ate it. Unfortunately, I believe one of our senior rats choked and passed away on this style of pellet this morning. I didn’t notice a change in their coat or energy levels compared to the ow box triangle shaped rat food

I’ve heard the Oxbow is the best rat food on the market so I’ve always fed my girls this kind. They eat it up, their poops are normal and they have nice coats. No complaints here!

Rats weren't interested in it

There was nothing wrong with the product, but none of my 4 rats were interested in it at all and I ended up tossing it. Just FYI.

Excellent product, shipped quickly; great price!

I've purchased a lot of products from Chewy before, but this is the first time I purchased Oxbow Garden Select Rat Food from them. Price was much better than any other vendor and no shipping costs if you reach a minimum. I originally purchased a small bag of these "rat blocks" at my local pet store to supplement my gerbils' diet and was pleased that they seemed to like them. But with that in mind, I won't be buying from the local pet store again. Small bags at a high price? Not for me. I appreciate that Chewy offers so many different pet foods and feel as if I wasn't forced into a limited number of choices at my local pet store -- and I get a much better price. Thanks Chewy!

rats won’t eat it

I loved that this product was non-GMO, as I’ve read studies about how they can cause tumor growth. However, my rats won’t eat it. I have to go back to my old food. I’m disappointed and was really hoping they would like this.
