Details

  • Using a gram scale, weigh out 1 gram of Panacur Granules for each 4.44 kg or 10 lbs. body weight
  • Mix the daily dose with a small amount of your dog�s usual food. Your dog should eat all of the medicated food. If feeding dry dog food, it may need to be moistened to aid mixing
  • Repeat the daily dose for 3 days in a row
  • Deworming schedules may vary depending on the climate where you live and the activity of your dog

Being able to buy this in bulk

When you have a lot of dogs to worm on a consistence bases, this is a more affordable way to go. I like the powder because it is easier to put on their food instead

I ordered a 1lb tub of panacur which is supposed to come with a measuring scoop and always has when I have ordered them before. Well this one did not and it is very difficult to dose without it. For $548 you would think I would get a scoop to dose properly. Disappointed Glad I could dig my old one out of the trash!

I worked for Hoechst the inventors of this product from 1985-1997. I sold many pounds of this to veterinarians as this is the original size packaging. It was always

I worked for Hoechst the inventors of this product from 1985-1997. I sold many pounds of this to veterinarians as this is the original size packaging. It was always considered the safest gentlest dewormer on the market. I highly recommend it. I left Hoechst to cut my travel down and worked for a company that made another dewormer. I can tell you that while the other dewormer was a tad mor convenient it was never as effective as Panacur. It is now sold by Merck as Hoechst divested from the veterinary business and is now under the umbrella of another pharma company in Europe. I still get calls from my old veterinary customers even though I am retired for the proper protocol to treat whip worms. A truly great product.
