I am always looking for new treats to keep my super chewer pup busy. These work great for keeping him focused on something for a little while. I love how it is 100% natural buffalo so I know I'm giving him a healthy treat. I love this large bag (1 lb) with plenty of treats and able to close the bag at the top. I do not give rawhide for safety reasons so this is a great alternative. It does have a strong odor but that is expected with this type of item. I just let him be on the other side of the room and everyone is happy.

I gave these water buffalo natural dog treats to my two miniature Australian Shepherds for a chew snack. They were absolutely obsessed. The treats have a strong smell that lingers but the easy to bag keeps the uneaten treats from producing a scent. It took my dogs about 5 minutes to chew through the treats. The chews are high quality with only one ingredient and are rich in essential nutrients. These chews were a hit at my household.

I recently tried the Papa Bow Wow Wholesome Treats for my dogs, and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, these treats are made from 100% free-range, grass-fed water buffalo, making them a healthy and ethical choice. They're high in protein, low in calories, and rich in essential nutrients like potassium, vitamins B6 and B12, and omega-3 fatty acids. Plus, they're free from GMOs and antibiotics. The good news is that both of my dogs absolutely loved these treats. However, there's a significant drawback: the smell is overwhelmingly strong and unpleasant. It was so intense that I had to open doors, turn on fans, and even wear a face mask while my dogs were eating them. While the nutritional benefits are great, the odor is a major concern for indoor use. I highly recommend giving these treats to your dogs only when they're outside. If you have a sensitive nose or live in a small space, you might want to think twice before purchasing. In conclusion, while these treats are loved by dogs and offer excellent nutritional value, the strong odor makes them best suited for outdoor use only. Consider your living situation and sensitivity to smells before buying.
Fragrant, No Mess Chews

These chews are great! They have a scent that my dogs love. The scent is strong so even my little geriatric guy who has lost the stength of some of his senses knows exactly when this treat is nearby. This chew did not cause any GI issues whatsoever which is great for any new treat or chew. They were easily digested by my dogs and a couple of visiting friend's dogs. Bonus is that I stored them in a bin with other, less exciting treats and the scent transfer made the other treats more exciting to my dogs also. They aren't crumbly, messy or sticky like some other chews/treats. My little wire haired girl has a beard and it's clean even after she has one of these chews. I will definitely be keeping these stocked in my home.

These were a delicious treat for my dogs. They came in a bag with a lot of them so they provided good value. They had a very strong smell which made it disappointing

They had a very strong smell which made it disappointing for one of my dogs with a sensitive gi system. I was trying to sneak and give them to my other dogs, but she caught a whiff and desperately wanted one too. They are good sized so they last a lot longer than a dog biscuit or other small treat.

These were good for two of our three dogs, which we expected. They are tough and one of our dogs who is older wasn't able to chew them, but we weren't surprised

My 2 dogs go crazy for these Papa Bow chews! They are extremely smelly, but they chew them pretty quickly and leave no trace, so I can tolerate it. This is more like a quick treat for my tough chewers, they last for about 2 minutes so it is not like a bully stick where they can entertain themselves for several minutes. Clean ingredients, doesn’t hurt my sensitive tummy girl. I am glad they come in these big bags!
