The Parisian Pet Scottish Plaid Jacket is super thick, well made, and very stylish. The snaps are high quality and feel sturdy. The only downside is that it runs very small. My chihuahua is tiny at 7 pounds and normally wears an X-small in all other clothes, but this one didn’t fit at all—we couldn’t snap it closed. We even tried it on our tiny cat, and had same issue. Definitely size up. Even so, it’s still super cute as a throw-on cover.

It is hard to find a well made not too cutesy coat for my little dog but this is the one. Generally if I buy dog coats I tend to buy those coats that are mini versions
It is hard to find a well made not too cutesy coat for my little dog but this is the one. Generally if I buy dog coats I tend to buy those coats that are mini versions of horse blankets because they are better made and actually stand up to a dog crashing through the brush or getting wet and dirty, not just taking a walk on the sidewalk. This coat has a beautiful, plush, soft lining that won't ruff up the dog's hair and it is stylish -- more like weekend on the Moors than sitting in Starbucks waiting on a pup cup. Do read the sizing chart carefully as there are ten different sizes when typically the most you will see is four or five. These sizes run smaller than typical dog coat sizes. Pick the right size and you have a really well made coat you will use for years and your dog will be looking good!

This was so cute!!! Very well made and great quality. The lining is so soft and thick. I was able to put it on my dog but not buttom it up all the way. He is 11

He is 11 lbs and I ordered a small but it was too small. I plan to order again and get a medium. Most animal wear is made cheap but this was made with care.

That’s worth emphasizing because the quality fabrics used mean there is very little—if any—stretch or give to the jacket. The size guide must be used to properly measure your dog and ensure the correct fit.
