I ordered the patchwork pricklets puffer fish, the dog, and the alligator. Even though the shape, materials, and function of these are nearly the same, only the ones with "tough" in the name don't stop squeaking almost immediately. So, the alligator and bear are still squeaking a month later, but the puffer fish stopped squeaking the first time my dog played with it.

Our golden retriever girl is very particular. Only 4” balls will be retrieved. Not 3.5”, not 4.5”. And they Must Be Squeaky. Those are hard to find for some reason! We found these and she Adores them. Even better, when in the future the outside comes off it is still good as a squeaky spiky ball. We purchased the whole line, saving some for the holidays.
