Excellent collar
We've owned several shock collars and this is a great option! It's smooth and sleek. The remote is simple to figure out and very easy to read. The switch to change collars is also on the side, away from the other buttons so I don't switch accidentally which I love. Changing the shock level is done with the top dial instead of side buttons. I don't have an opinion on that either way (we rarely use the shock), but thought it was worth mentioning in case someone else does prefer one over the other. This collar also has a lock switch - a feature I wish we had a few years ago when we had toddlers who would grab the remote and have a grand time torturing the dog until we caught him. The only issue I have is that I wish it charged with a more common connector type (my dog has ruined so many cords and this one isn't easily replaced with one of the many other cords in the house). Otherwise, this collar is a great option.
Silence is golden!
Wow! The beep really startles my dogs. They look confused and promptly stop barking. What more could you want? How about the fact that everything is rechargeable and it’s a long time between needed charges. I like that you can make the shock part very gentle, too. I don’t want to hurt my dogs, just stop their unending barking. This is working really well.
PERFECT COLLAR IF YOU HAVE A MALE & FEMALE DOG!
I have purchased PATPET training collars in the past because they are great. I love this design as I have a male & a female dog of the same breed and people never know which one is which. Now, my girl wears the PINK and looks so pretty & my male wears the black and looks macho. Battery charges fast and works like a charm. I highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a great training collar. PATPET never disappoints!
Works good for 2 dogs
These collars are nice because you have one controller for 2 dogs. Very nice feature. I like that the beep sound is louder than some collars I have had in the past. I have 2 dogs who are very different in size and these collars work for both of them.
