Has anyone tried this on an alaskan malamute

When I go to shock it doesn’t. I have charged them fully and I charged the remote fully. Is there something else I’m missing?

Does this work with long, thick haired dogs?

The collar is equipped with the Metal Contact Sheets that are designed for long haired dogs.

How many collars come with this unit? If only one, how do I get a second one.

This training collar only comes with one receiver collar. At this time, the manufacturer does not have additional receiver collars readily available.

This company is outstanding! The collar is really good and does the job! We hike all the time and this collar gives me peace of mind, whether we're out on a hike or in a crowded area or doing training exercises. She is always in my vicinity thanks to this amazing collar. I love the set up of the remote as well and the fact that the collar has the extension prongs for her long, dense fur. We had an issue with a part of the collar that the hinge and ood quality plastic part that holds the hinge broke, but they replaced it for us due to their awesome 1 year warranty! I am very impressed with the quality of this collar and remote and highly recommend this to anyone in need of a good quality Training dog collar!

Actually works for our stubborn Pyrenees

We’ve bought two others that weren’t strong (and prongs long enough) to penetrate though his big neck coat) for our dog to notice but this one works. Very helpful

Amazing customer service

I bought this training collar about a year ago and called chewy customer service to see if I got any kind of warranty on it as my puppy managed to rip the front

I bought this training collar about a year ago and called chewy customer service to see if I got any kind of warranty on it as my puppy managed to rip the front cover off of it. Fully expecting them to say no warranty and due to the type of damage it couldn't be replaced. The lady on the phone was amazing and said she was sorry to hear about the broken collar and had another one shipped out the next day!!!! Didn't make me jump thru hoops, I offered to send them pictures of the damage ND she said no need and to just enjoy the new collar. It's a nice change to have quality customer service

For the price of this product you can definitely find something better on the market. We paid $90.00 at the time for it, whereas it’s increased to $125 now, and it is no where near worth that. You can barely hear the beep when it is at the highest level, the vibrate button only works half the time and the shock has barely ever worked! We have had it tested and worked on and the problems still continue. I unfortunately can not recommend this product.

Loved the collar until it fell apart

We used this collar 2-3 times a week since October (approx 4 months) for outside play and when visitors came to help train our dog not to jump on people. Tonight

We used this collar 2-3 times a week since October (approx 4 months) for outside play and when visitors came to help train our dog not to jump on people. Tonight we heard him chewing something and found the outside plastic cover had fallen off and our dog was chewing the pieces. It looks like the plastic posts that the cover screws "screw" into broke. Thankfully the dog did not eat the cover, screws, or parts for the LED indicator light that fell out. I would choose a different product.
