Works well for my big boy, a 10 month old male ( if you know the breed you understand) I’m not a big person so It was necessary. The sound/ tone had no effect on him at all. The vibe setting works well on him. The shock not really. even on the highest setting. He’s a pretty tough guy. The controller is a little awkward for smaller hands and the belt clip doesn’t work on just the waist band of your pants but it fits on your front pockets. All in all works on my dog

My dog’s recall was great while on a 30’ check cord, but the moment I took it off she completely ignored commands. After 3 unsuccessful months I decided to try an ecollar, and within days I was able to leave her off leash to run around our 2 acres. She already knew the recall command, and the vibration mode set low was enough to get her attention. She now comes when called whether or not she’s wearing the ecollar so I rarely use it anymore. It was only used for short intervals and within 2 acres, so I can’t speak to battery life or range other than to say I haven’t experienced issues. Despite using in such a limited fashion, I would recommend since the outcome was exactly what I was hoping for. I’d strongly advise seeking YouTube videos or speaking to a trainer regarding ecollar training- gaining knowledge helped me avoid ever having to use the shock feature.

Short & Sweet, it works. I am very pleased. My dog is very reactive to other dogs & wild animals. She even lunges at blowing leaves. Making walking not only hard, but embarrassing as well. I ve only used it once it has made a tremendous difference. For my sweet girl, the sound is enough for correction, at least for now.
