Terrible directions, and no clear descriptions of the different settings

There really isn't any setup needed, yet one would want to know clearly what the different settings are because they are not levels. Just in trying to figure out the in's and out's of this thing, not even using it yet my dog was shaking. I have never seen him shake before! Once we thought we had it figured out/set up out dog was cowering in the other room. Sure, when UPS came, he didn't bark, that was good, but after forty-five minutes, his personality was just so off-putting. I turned it off. I don't think it really did turn off because the dog was still acting too off. I took it outside and then our sweet Bar-Bar visibly relaxed. He came and sat by me and stopped shaking. I waited 3 days and only walked by him with it in my hand and his ears went flat and he started shaking again! I don't know if it was too loud or scarry but I would not recommend. There really isn't any setup required, but it's crucial to understand the various settings because they aren't just levels. When I was trying to grasp how this device worked without even using it yet my dog began shaking uncontrollably. Once we thought we had it figured out and set up, our dog was cowering in the other room. On one hand, it was a relief that he didn't bark when the UPS truck arrived, but after forty-five minutes, his behavior was so concerning that I decided to turn it off. However, it didn't seem to actually turn off because he continued to act strangely. I took the device outside, and to my surprise, our sweet Bar-Bar visibly relaxed. He came over and sat beside me, finally stopping his shaking. I waited three days, and just by walking past him with the device in hand, his ears flattened, and he started shaking again! I can't say for certain if it was too loud or frightening, but I strongly advise against using this device. It clearly had an unsettling impact on my dog, and I wouldn't want anyone else's pet to experience the same distress. this.

I saw another comment that said similar but it was a kid so I was hoping maybe it wasn't accurate but you 100! Hear the high pitch squeal. It also let's off the sound with no reason, you hear it as soon as you cut the device on and it goes away after a few seconds. Its extremely sensitive. If I yell, beeps. Dogs tail wagging in crate, beeps. Claws tapping the floor, beeps. My dogs are now just walking around with their ears pulled back. And to top it off, they bark through it. I'm just going to get a dog whistle.

I got this one for indoor use, and found a solar powered one to use in the backyard. What I like most is that it doesn’t scare my dogs, as some we have tried a couple in the past that got my bigger dogs nervous. It just interrupts the barking enough for them to stop and reset. The different modes also help because not all of my dogs react the same way. After a few days of consistent use, the nonstop barking dropped a lot. If you’re dealing with loud or constant barking and need something simple that actually works, this has been worth it so far.

This was a Last Chance Effort for Bandit , a Dog that my Son and His Family was Fostering , with Hopes of Adopting. Unfortunately this Product doesn't stop His constant Barking. They have tried Everything. He will have to go back and Hopefully will fit in a Better Situation for Bandit.

I've had this set up in my house for a couple of days now and it has greatly reduced the barking in my house. Instead of carrying on, there might be a random bark

Instead of carrying on, there might be a random bark or two, but then it stops and is corrected. What a blessing!! There are different modes too, so if one doesn't work or your furry friends get used to it, change it up. I also like that it is wireless, so it can be placed where it is needed without restrictions. There is a light to show when it is active as well, so you know when it's working.
Way to sensitive
You CANNOT use this indoors around people. Why? If any one even talks it goes off. My 12 year old daughter could hear it and we ran some tests and every time I said

It has mounting holes in the back of it so I was able to mount it to the fence with a screw. Also the 3 ultrasonic speakers work great. My dog now goes to his barking spot and barks once or twice and this device sends out a dog whistle sound and my dog stops barking.
