Does Chewy carry the replacement grinder wheel for this? Also, how long does a wheel last?

At this time, replacement grinders are not available for purchase separately. However, you may contact PATPET directly for replacement parts. If the grinder is used once per week, it can last up to 2 years.

This says it works for dogs and cats but comes with a "dog nail grinder". Is there a different attachment for cats or is it just the name of the grinder attachment throwing me off? Hoping for a better nail solution for my cats. Thanks!

This grinder comes with 3 tips, one for medium to large dogs, one for cats and small dogs, and one for fast grinding.

Pretty quiet, adjustable and the charge lasts for quite some time. I’ve had it for almost a year and haven’t had to replace the head on it yet.

Quiet. Easy to use. Safe. Charges quickly and easily.

This was purchased in the hope that it would be accepted by the dogs. So far, 3 of my 4 dogs have allowed me to grind their front nails. The dogs are not afraid

This was purchased in the hope that it would be accepted by the dogs. So far, 3 of my 4 dogs have allowed me to grind their front nails. The dogs are not afraid of the grinder and actually seem to think we are playing a game. The big dog, Curry Ford, and the sibling puppies, Bolt and Valerie, approve of this grinder. Haven't attempted with Chico Burrito yet, but hope he will give a thumbs up...oh, wait. Dogs don't have thumbs! Paws up!

I have a very traumatized senior that dislikes his paws being touched. I bought this because it said it was ultra quiet, and I have tried to use it by training my dog to get used to the noise and vibration, but it has been futile. It is not quiet at all and the vibration levels is just as bad as the cheaper versions I had previously bought. I even tried it on my own nail and I can feel the horrible vibration through my finger and hand. Now it's just another wasted money memory because it can't be returned. I will have to look elsewhere for other options.

I can get replacement heads!

My one dog really isn't comfortable with nail clippers, so I decided to try a grinder. At first, I used a Dremel, but it got caught in Tank's long hair once and I was really uncomfortable using it again. This product has a nice little cover that prevents any hair from getting caught. I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough- but it's got a powerful little motor. Add that with the fact that it is rechargable and I'm really happy with this purchase!
