What size batteries does it take and how many?

How much is dispense per portion? This information is not in the instructional guide.

You have to test it out a few times with whatever food you are using. Different kibbles react differently to the feeder. Once you know how much food comes out for every “portion” (1), you can program 1, 2, 3, or 4 meals with the number of “portions” (1-9) your pet(s) need.

This feeder is not wireless. It requires being plugged into an outlet.

Stopped Working After 3 Months

The feeders was working great at the beginning. When I unplugged the feeder to wash it, it stopped working. The clock did not stay consistent, it fed larger amounts

We rescued a 15 month old cat that had been abandoned and her anxiety about food was pretty high. Our vet suggested a programmable feeder so she got used to being fed the same time and amount every day. Reviews on this one were good and it was super easy to assemble. The only complaint is that it doesn't give clarification on how much a "portion" measures out to. We found that each portion is appx. 1/8 of a cup.

Great feeder with one drawback....

The default setting for each meal delivery is around 1 1/2 cups of kibble which is more than my cat eats daily. I have to monitor her weight. There's not an option

The default setting for each meal delivery is around 1 1/2 cups of kibble which is more than my cat eats daily. I have to monitor her weight. There's not an option for reducing the amount dispersed per feeding. It's a great feeder otherwise and would work for many pet owners.

This is my first time trying a smaller feeder since I have three cats. It's easy to assemble and program, and it seems durable and works perfectly just like the other feeders from this brand. It threw me a little how small it is, so I would recommend only using this for a single small dog or cat. Otherwise, it's really nice. Just a heads up that the bowl attaches on the opposite side of the display.
