This food smells like a cardboard box. My three dogs turned away from it the minute I opened the bag. One of my dogs will eat ANYTHING, and she would have no part of it. I was disappointed, I thought being from Paula Deen it would be great. Don't waste your money.

My bulldog mix is so finicky which is unusual because bulldogs aren't usually. They are known to like just about anything. I saw this food at Big Lots and decided to give it a try. She loves it. I usually have to put a little wet food or gravy or pumpkin on the food and even then she has learned to lick off what I add and leave the rest. Not the Hugs Lamb Peas and Pearled Barley. She licked the bowl after eating it! Hopefully she continues to enjoy it. She's so finicky she may turn up her nose in a day or two. We'll see
