Are they true to size Can you insert a pad

These wraps do not have an opening for pad inserts. They work great alone or as covers for disposable male wraps. For the complete sizing chart, click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.

Can this product be bleached with chlorine bleach?

We recommend machine washing the liners in warm water on a gentle cycle. Please avoid using chlorine bleach, as it can damage the fabric and reduce absorbency over time.

It comes down to sizing and fit

My elderly corgi needed to start using belly bands. I started with disposables, but I decided to try washables as they would work better with suspenders. PROS: Well constructed Very absorbent Washes easily CONS: Main issues seem to be breed/body type specific. Camden's waist size requires an XL band. While it fits his circumference, the width of the band requires me to fold it in to wrap comfortably. Due to the fold, can't attach the suspenders to the washable band correctly/comfortably. I have been using the disposables, attaching the suspenders to that band, then wrapping both with the washable one (which helps in case of leakage). In short - if you require suspenders, or have a dog with a short torso but thicker waist, this may not be the right band. But if neither issue applies, they are well made and function as advertised.

I loved the color options for these & how well they withstood the washing machine. They did take a long time to air dry afterward, but I suppose that’s normal with reusable wraps, maybe? I never got a chance to use them since my dog passed away, I’d only washed them so they’d be ready to go when needed. We used Frisco’s disposable male wraps in his final week of life so we could spend more time with him, rather than cleaning up. If he had lived longer, I absolutely would have given these a real go to keep our waste from piling up in a landfill though. I’m grateful chewy had so many options though in our time of need, especially since we didn’t have a crystal ball and having a variety of things on hand really helped us be prepared for whatever came our way. I do wish there had been an option for dogs with sensitive skin that do better with cotton or bamboo materials, but we survived and made the most of the options out there. Thank you chewy!

Sizes run small

This does not fit well on my 11 year old German Shepherd dog I ordered a large but its tight and pops open. I washed it but its not great. So I am staying with

Belly bands

I’m sure these would be helpful but Ranger is a 16 year old rescue and doesn’t want to be picked up or held. And now that his eyesight and hearing are bad he’s hard

This was a second attempt at male Belly Bands for my elderly dog. The first (a different company) was well made, however, the sizing was off. These Paw Inspired bands are more appropriately sized. They stay securely on. And they come in nice colors. The only complaint I have is that when washed, they require numerous soaks and scrubs before they come completely clean. The previous brand I used (that was sized improperly) washed extremely well and easily. They came up clean quickly, with no residue and without excessive laundering effort. Paw Inspired would be perfect if the absorbent material was easier to launder.
