I bought these for my cat who is in renal failure. He refuses to use a litter box anymore. He drinks water all day and pees a lot! The disposable pads get so expensive when you’re going through 25 to 30 a day. I use two of these washable pads during the day and two at night (I’ve bought 6 total). Then just wash (normal setting) and hang dry. I wish I would have found these sooner! These are so absorbent and the rubber backing keeps the urine off my floors.

This is really attractive, and looks more like a carpet than a pee pad. I have one under Miss Eartha Kitty's litter box. I also found that if I put it reverse-side up on my kitchen table or the counter, the cats won't jump on them when I'm not looking, because they hate the nubby surface.

I use these near my kitchen sink where I know there's always going to be water dripping or splashing. These have been great for water spills - I once spilled a bunch of water and when I came back to clean it up, I realized I didn't have to because the water absorbed into the mat. I just threw the mat into the wash at the end of the week, and it made cleanup so much easier. I will probably buy more to put by my door to keep dirt from tracking into my house. These are cute, and I don't mind having them around my house because they look so nice!
