I have not had any problems opening the container as other reviewers have commented. Perfect size to hold our pup's treats. It must be air-tight because she only shows interest when it's open (or she hears it being opened)!
This was an excellent choice for my fur baby!!
After one of my dogs got his head stuck in a container that the other dog had managed to open, I need them to be break-in proof. I can open them. I do keep them out of reach, now as well, so they have not really been dog tested yet. The way they are designed, it would be harder if not impossible for Scooter to get his head stuck again. My only complaint is that I can’t see the treats to know which container had which treats. I wish I could find a clear container that was this secure.
This tin is very cute but it is hard to get into. Once you have the cover on it seals tight . It is hard to open.
Cute but difficult to open. Arrived with a large dent in the top.
I bought the small jar for my dog's treats. The pattern is great. However, it is extremely difficult to open the cover. I don't use it. Asking for a refund from Chewy. Chewy is great to work with, very customer oriented
This is a very cute and sturdy canister. The lid is a little hard to remove. If you wash it, DO NOT SUBMERGE THE LID IN WATER! Water will seep into the lid. I did not realize this until 3 days later when I was putting my dogs treats into the canister. I could hear water in it and knew it had to come out not to rust the lid. I forced it open with a butter knife and found rust that I cleaned it up. Other than this issue, Iike the canister.
It’s a good canister just wish the lid was easier to take off! I had it for several weeks now and I thought the lid would loosen up a little no such luck.
This jar looks nice and it came as a set with bigger can for dry food. The treat jar is very hard to open, breaking my nails. I tried to practice opening several times, but it never got easier. Never used to place the treats in it and I would like to return this item.
We wnated a place to keep our dogs' treats handy. The container really looks nice, but the lid fits very tightlu and there is nothing to grip short of using fingernails or a dinner knife to get it started. I will look for something else
