Long Lasting
My dog loves to eat and chew things. I was looking for something she would enjoy that would last longer than a minute. She is a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix weighing
My dog loves to eat and chew things. I was looking for something she would enjoy that would last longer than a minute. She is a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix weighing around 82 pounds. I try to give her treats that help clean her teeth since she is six years old and starting to get some tartar. The Himalayan chew looked like it might work. The large is a good size, about 6” and it’s REALLY hard. She was hesitant at first, but once she took it, she really enjoyed it. I like that it lasts hours and hours. I was able to take it away and then give it to her again. She loved gnawing on it. The only con was that when she broke pieces off, they seemed a little sharp and were a little hard. The more she worked on it though, it became a little more pliable. It met my needs to have an entertaining, long lasting chew toy that would also keep her teeth healthy. I would recommend this product, but highly suggest you let your dog chew on it when you are around because of the pieces that break off.

My 70-75lb senior dog really enjoys this stick. He has always been a super chewer and this stick definitely outlasts him. He is older now so I think I should have chosen a medium size instead of the large. I didn't realize the total size of it. It measures approximately 7"x"x1". There are no strange ingredients listed - it's all good stuff. The stick doesn't get sticky or gross or even seem to break apart at all in between chews and no smell or any staining coming of on the dog blankets that I can find. The stick was a single stick which I didn't realize it was going to be one stick - the box says "large bars" so I thought it would be multiple smaller bars in the box. Anyway, my husband got it broken apart for our two dogs but he had to use a vice so it really is a durable stick. Again, the size thing was my error...I would definitely get again but would get the medium size. Multiple chews over days and the stick is still going strong!

The chews are a great size for them. They are incredibly strong and durable. Lasted for hours. I could have made them last for days but was unable to get them away from either dog. My boys rate these a 10 out of 10. I appreciate the natural ingredients it’s important to me. I will definitely buy these in the future.

This Pawfect Dentamust Himalayan Grain-Free Cheese Infused with Cranberry, Pomegranate & Activated Charcoal came with one large stick in the box and arrived quickly through Chewy’s excellent delivery process. The chew is very hard. My Labrador did not seem interested in it at all but my setter was very happy with it. It is very long lasting for tough chewers due to its thick, hard texture and the large size of the chew. It almost feels like a thick nail file. After chewing on it for about 20mins, my dog softened the end she was working on. I am concerned about the hardness on her teeth, but she really enjoyed this long lasting treat.

My 11 month old corgi puppy is such a chewer!! I gave him a Himalayan Cheese Chew and he is loving it!! He is choosing to chew on it instead of the coffee table legs lol, that’s a bonus! It’s been so helpful for him especially now as he is recovering from his neuter surgery and is on activity restrictions. I feel good giving it to him because it’s keeping him busy and helping out his teeth at the same time! I love the size, it’s large so it lasts forever!

Most of these type of treats are gone in 5 minutes, but this one lasted a long time. Our timid Lab wasn't interested in it until the other had chewed on it for awhile, but our Shepherd took it right away. If you have a picky eater this may not be the one for you. Otherwise, I recommend giving it a try.

When he finally put it down it was to “bury “ it under a blanket. It became an immediate favorite! Why 4 stars? I believe there is no substitute for actually brushing a dog’s teeth with a toothbrush. My male 80lb American Staffordshire Terrier grabbed it with his paw, so he got it. He really enjoyed it and it lasted longer than most treats. Perfect size treat for a dog his size. Will give them outside next time as the treat lasts so long there was quite a bit of drool to clean up!!!
