I gave these Himalayan cheese bars to 2 of my 3 dogs. I was somewhat reluctant about giving them to my pug even though they say for small dogs. The chews are extremely hard, which made me question the suitability for a small dog. Both of my dogs loved them, they lasted so long I had to actually take them away and give them a break. So all in all a good product for a truly long lasting chew.

First of all, I LOVE how this product is packaged. Packaged in a nice, easy to open and close container. Also, these dental bones are HUGE and dense. I have 3
First of all, I LOVE how this product is packaged. Packaged in a nice, easy to open and close container. Also, these dental bones are HUGE and dense. I have 3 fifty pound plus dogs and these chew bones stood up to the test in durability, taste, and longevity. Longevity might sound like an odd word to use for a chew bone, but boy, once your dogs try them you will understand. My dogs immediately loved these bones and 1.5 hours later my dogs are still happily chewing on the bones. Only 1 dog has made a dent in breaking down the chew bone by maybe 10%. This one dog is a huge chewer that chews up all the heavy duty dog toys. So for me these chew bones are sturdy and must be tasty. I however, if you are looking for this chew to freshen up your dog's breath, I did not notice that my dog's breath was minty or pleasant smelling.

These chews seem to be a hit with my dog, but she has yet to chew on them. She covers them to the point that she carries them around in her mouth and has started hiding them all over the house. This can be common in the Brittany breed, especially with her favorite bones/toys. I ordered the medium size for my 30lb pup. Seems a bit large for her size, but it will certainly last overtime. The texture is hard and there is no smell, even though it is cheese and mint flavored. Fortunately, it has not left a residue on any of our furniture or bedding.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much my senior dog loves these chews and how long they last. Because it is a milk based product, I assumed it would be a softer dental chew but it is really more like the texture of a bone. My dog has been working on the same chew for about three days now and has worn it down to about a third of its original size. The only thing I don’t love about the chew is that it tends to be a bit messy in that the gnawing leaves little crumbs everywhere. Otherwise, this seems to be a hit!
