Me and my senior cat are so very thrilled with Nature's Feast Freeze Dried Cat Treats! Our first flavor tried was 100% goat liver. What we love the most about the treat is the ingredient list: 100% goat liver, period, that's it! So many other treat offerings contain bunches of other ingredients, many for preservation but not always ideal for our pets. I am just thrilled beyond words that there is finally a company that focuses solely on the protein as a treat. I fed my cat this treat as a training exercise, as a treat, and as a food topper (as she ages, proteins that she once loved sometimes have her nose snubbed at them!). Each time, these goat treats were gobbled down immediately. We also love the texture of the treat: truly freeze dried, so not too hard and crunchy (as some other treats can be), which is difficult on her older teeth (and challenging as she is losing teeth) but hollow-ish enough to moisten up with a little wetting or saliva. We cannot WAIT to try other flavors and are just over-the-moon thrilled about the single ingredient composition of Nature's Feast cat treats!

However, I do like providing my pets with variety when possible and trying out goat seemed like a fun idea. My girl loves them. The treats are a perfect small, consistent size that makes it easy to grab just a few. The are hard enough to not crumble, but soft enough that my elderly kitty had no problems chewing them. She also must have like them a lot because she kept following me around begging for more! I also love the canister they come in for storage. It's easy to open for me, but strong enough to keep the cat out.

I was hoping the pungent smell would entice my picky eater to try these treats, but he wanted nothing to do with these treats. I have tried to give him these treats a couple times through the day and he smells them and just walks away. I’m sure they are tasty to some cats, just not mine.

My older cat didnt like these, I think they were too hard for her to chew. My younger cat enjoys them when i break them into smaller pieces and put it on top

So she loves the taste of the treat but she doesnt seem like the soze the treat comes in. As a bonus my dog loves these! He has IBD so he is very limited on what he can eat so he enjoys a liver treat on occasion since its a single ingredient snack.
