I wouldn't say my dogs had a problem with loose stool but there was room for improvement. Enter, this product, and any poo woes I had in public were gone. I could pick up their business and the area beneath it was spotless because it was perfectly firm-- a plus when you are going to private dog parks often. I find that my dogs quite like the stuff. It is an unusual topper in that it is a fine powder. It is a good idea to follow the product's suggestion and add some liquid to the powder and add it to your dog's food that way. I didn't the first time or two and I made a bit of a dusty mess. Nothing an eager dog can't fix though! It mixes great with my geriatric dog's fish oil for her food. The liquid helps coat the food. I feel the container is a generous size so it should last me a while. We are completely satisfied with this topper!

We’ve been using the Pawfect Pumpkin Purge Dog Food Topper (8-oz jar) for a couple of meals now, and overall, we’re really happy with it! The dogs absolutely love the taste—they lick their bowls clean every time. The powder smells fresh and appetizing (even to humans!) and has a great color and texture. It definitely adds a little something special to their meals. The packaging is adorable and feels premium, which I appreciate. However, I do wish there was a measuring spoon included in the jar—it would make scooping and portioning much easier. Also, if you’re using the topper as a dry powder rather than mixing it with water, the feeding recommendations seem a bit heavy-handed. A little seems to go a long way, at least for our pups. All in all, this is a high-quality, tasty product that my dogs genuinely enjoy—I just hope future versions come with a scoop and slightly adjusted serving guidance.

The jar of Pumpkin Purge powder smelled good and was free flowing. The instructions offered two ways to add it to the dogs bowl: 1) sprinkle it on top of the food or 2) mix it with water to introduce it as something new and less potent. It did not mix well. It became lumpy and did not dissolve very well. I don’t recommend adding water. The second time I tried it by just sprinkling it on top of my dogs food bowl. My one year old Lab liked the taste and ate it without delay. After one week of adding it to the dinner bowl my dog still had relatively loose poop. I did not see any improvement or change in her stool. I continued using it daily for about 4 weeks but did not see any noticeable change in my dogs eating or bowl habits. This product may be beneficial to older dogs digestion but my one year old Lab did not show any sings of improvement. I live in Maryland and have enjoyed using Chewy for my pet care needs.

I was skeptical at first with this Pawfect pumpkin topper, but I have to say its great! The smell and how it mixes into the food, is good. Bodi who is a 15 pound mini poodle is somewhat fun about what I add to his food, but this is simply and easy to use. After a week of this, Bodis bowel movements have firmed up and the upset stomach seems to have calmed. I would definitely buy this product, mainly because of the quality and its so much better than pumpkin puree which is messy and a fight to get him to eat...we give this 2 paws up !

They did finally finish it after a long while The one corgi is kinda picky so didn’t surprise me the other one tho is very adventurous and eats about anything so kind of surprised me. The hounds also surprised me since their noses are so sensitive they tend to investigate before they eat something. But they chowed down!

My dog absolutely loves this! I introduced this product to her about a week ago just by adding a tablespoon of the pumpkin purge powder to her dinner (she is under 30lbs). I normally add a topper to her dinner but haven't needed to add anything else other than this pumpkin powder. She gobbles it up as fast as she can. I have even noticed an improvement in her stool. I am also impressed by the ingredients. Container does not come with a scoop, so I just keep a tablespoon nearby. Highly recommend!!

I lowered the amount to about 1/3 of the recommended amount and they would eat that. I could not see any change in their stool consistency, but since they weren’t consuming the recommended dose, I don’t think that is a valid observation. Neither of these dogs are reluctant eaters.
