Metal hardware broke off while walking dog

I was initially really happy with this leash - the material the leash is made of is excellent, and the colors were vibrant like I wanted. However, when I was picking my dog up from daycare yesterday, the leash just broke (see attached picture). The metal piece that attaches to her harness just came apart. Thankfully we were still inside, but her daycare leads right out to an extremely busy street, and I physically shudder at the thought of what could have happened if it had broke just 5 minutes later. This company needs to choose better hardware -- at the moment it is clearly made of a cheap material. OR they need to advise this leash only for very tiny dogs that may put less pressure on the hardware.

Poor Quality
This item arrived broken. One of the rivets was not even applied properly. Leash can not be used. Clip hardware was too small to attach to a medium to large breed

This leash is beautiful and functional, but it was quite thin. It will work for walks at home, but with my larger dog I am not sure I trust the small clasp or leash
This leash is beautiful and functional, but it was quite thin. It will work for walks at home, but with my larger dog I am not sure I trust the small clasp or leash to restrain him. Some reviews said it was heavy and better suited for larger dogs, but I did not think it was very heavy at all. It is pretty though and I love that it is waterproof. Overall, it is exactly what it says it is and will work perfectly if you have a medium sized dog with decent leash etiquette.

This leash is amazing to look at, and yes, it is exactly what you pay for, BUT... It is *SO HEAVY.*.. I have just never been able to use it. At least for my 36lb

At least for my 36lb dog it is just too much :( Sad that it is so pretty but it is simply collecting dust and probably will never be used by us.. The collars are absolutely AMAZING and I do recommend, but this leash, take it out of your cart even if it is beautiful and temptation calls :(

I definitely prefer this option. I had a polyester fabric leash that would get dirty and STAY that way. I am switching over and ordering another one of these!
