This rabbit hutch was smaller than what I expected. I know the measurements are listed online. I have a Rex rabbit, which is a medium sized rabbit. Once I put her in I realized that she couldn't fully stand up on the bottom floor. That's fine, she has the upstairs as well. She immediately started chewing on the wood. I threw some rabbit treats in there. I sprayed with bitter apple spray to deter from chewing. The next day I realized that she had chewed halfway through the bottom support brackets. Rabbits chew, that's what they do and this is a rabbit hutch according to the title. The wood pieces are so thin and dry, most of them being just 1 inch by 1 in I don't see this lasting more than a couple of weeks. I've seen how much damage she caused within the past 24 hours. It's like she's living in the rabbit gingerbread house. She's eating it away, including all the wood traction on the ramps. I'm on the hunt for a new rabbit hutch. Maybe this would be good for a guinea pig or other small animal. It's a cute design but that's about it.
