Lazy cats

The product is awesome BUT my 7 cats are lazy. It was not hard putting it together but definitely takes concentration and time and an extra set of hands. Don’t rush

The product is awesome BUT my 7 cats are lazy. It was not hard putting it together but definitely takes concentration and time and an extra set of hands. Don’t rush it. Now I just have to get them to play on it instead of sleep in the pile of cat nip on it. Lol

Very well made

It was easy but time consuming to put together. Everything was clearly labeled. Even with no step by step instructions, the illustrations were enough. We couldn’t

It was easy but time consuming to put together. Everything was clearly labeled. Even with no step by step instructions, the illustrations were enough. We couldn’t find the Velcro strips at first, they were the same color as the packing and packed loose in the box - my only complaint. My overactive cat has used it for less than 30 seconds at a time, but he will like it eventually. PS it’s HUGE!!

Minor issues, but otherwise great

Don't expect to be able to put this together with the tools they include. The included screwdriver was made of such soft metal that the screws deformed the screwdriver

Don't expect to be able to put this together with the tools they include. The included screwdriver was made of such soft metal that the screws deformed the screwdriver until it was useless. I would recommend using your own screwdrivers, or even better - a power drill. The instructions do not say to use a hammer to insert the wooden pins, but I definitely found it necessary, as most of the time the pins were too large by a hair for the holes they were intended to fit in to. That aside, I would have liked to see the cams made out of a more solid metal; these feel flimsy and time will tell if they hold up. Plan to set aside at least an hour or two to put this wheel together. All that being said, the wood and finish is surprisingly good. Once assembled, it looks very nice. The base is solid. The casters are quiet and smooth, and I've had three out of six cats take to it almost immediately. The locking mechanism is easy to use. This will be a good size for kittens, teens, and young adult cats that are on the smaller size, but if you have a larger cat you'll want a larger wheel.
